15 Days in Aitutaki Paradise

We flew into Rarotonga and straight out again to Aitutaki in a rather small 15 seater plane...

Started with Dad's Birthday (and of course a video) ...

Our first home on Aitutaki...

An amazing day kayaking to our very own deserted island to swim, snorkel, chase crabs and have a picnic lunch

Another day of sun, sand and swimming...

 Out in the lagoon to explore and snorkel...you can't get enough of the gorgeous blue colours.

Other ways to spend our days...playing the ukelele, visiting the animals around town,

Learning how to husk coconuts

Umu day at the secondary school - a day of competitions...drumming, singing, stilt races, coconut husking...all ending with a delicious umu where we were lucky enough to be guests of honour.

5 Days in LA

We had a fantastic 5 nights in LA as we traveled from Canada to the Cook Islands.

We started off at Disneyland. Jetlagged kids meant the day started at 2.30am which makes for a long day waiting for Disneyland to open...

After an amazing first day, and thinking we were only going to do one day, we had tickets for another day at California Adventure Park before Day 1 ended...

After two fabulous days doing Disney it was off to Venice Beach.

A beautiful start to the day...

and the sunsets were awesome too...

We spent a day scootering along the boardwalk to Santa Monica and had fun in the Rings Park and watching street performers.
