We had a great last couple of weeks in NZ. Ted and Jackson had boy time in Whangamata while Jaime and I caught up with friends in Auckland. First time Jackson and Jaime had ever been apart so the first night was pretty traumatic for a certain boy who was missing his little sister.
Boy time in Whangamata... time spent fishing, making robots, visiting the Waihi Gold Mine, morning walks on the beach and movie nights.
So the girls started with a little makeover fun....
and a little shopping with Mum, Liz and Diane.
Dinner with Julia and Jan, and catching up with old Uni friends Nath and Kirst.
Dinner with Paula, Tash, Kath and Carlee, and a catch up with Julie and the soon-to-be-born Kayla who I missed meeting by 3 days.
Brunch out with Terese and Anita.
Everyone back together again in Auckland...
Off for a canoe ride from the Wenderholm Regional Park and up the Puhoi River.
Cousin time with Matthew and Cameron!
and a picnic in the park with Harry and Lucy too.
Matthew and Jackson - a plastic bag and a stream - all that two boys need for a fun afternoon of trying to catch fish ... with no luck ... doesn't matter though.
Cameron and Jaime up to trouble in the pantry.
Hot tub time!
Anita, Mum and me.
Our last days of late summer fun at Whangamata with Nana and Poppa.
Poppa showed us new toy - a remote controlled aeroplane.
Fishing at the wharf with Poppa
Baking with Nana
Boogie boarding at Whanga
Snow/sand angels
Ted caught a kahawai off the wharf and had filleting lessons from Poppa
On the beach with Nana
Poppa being such a great sport and getting a make over by Jaime
