Cinque Terre

Cinque Terre was where Belinda wanted to spend her 40th birthday. We had drinks and enjoyed a great sunset, in a playground, overlooking Riomaggiore.

We had 10 fantastic days in this village in the mountains. With a population of 90 it was a chilled out few days. Great to have Nana and Tom join us too. A huge thanks to Karen for sharing her piece of paradise with us!

The road trip started with two children in the back seat and a whole lot of vomit

....however, the countryside, wine and food more than made up for our rough start.
NB Always check the GPS settings before you start...unaware, ours was set to ecological (read: windy, narrow, scenic roads and no highways) which didn't agree with the back seat drivers stomachs.... Our 2 hour drive ended up being a 5 hour one...
