Our Northland Road Trip

What a fantastic start to our trip up North! A night on the farm with my Aunty and Uncle which brought back all the childhood memories of holidays in Paparoa.


Straight into tree climbing as soon as we arrived.

From here we travelled through Dargaville to visit Te Matua Ngahere and the great Tane Mahuta in the Waipoua Forest.


On the ferry to Rawene and onwards to Opononi.

Off to Houhora Harbour and our home sweet home for a couple of nights...
