We meet Ralph from Hawaii at the camping ground. He was passionate about fishing and we were so grateful for all of the tips and riggings he set up for us. Alas no salmon but he was such a great guy to meet.
Mt Cook...somewhere under those clouds...
At Mt Cook National Park we hiked up to see one of the glaciers and the icebergs that had broken off it. Unfortunately the weather was not on our side.
Happy 8 years to us! Such a romantic cabin to spend our anniversary in Lake Ruataniwha - ha ha!
